What the generator actually makes

Complete, unedited videos: exactly what you’d get from your own topic. Pick one to hear it with sound.

Why is the sky blue?

Sunlight, tiny air molecules and a color that scatters more than the others: the sky, explained in under a minute.

How it works

From script to motion design in three steps

You bring the words. Scene breakdown, design, animation, captions and sound are on us: the work that usually takes hours per minute of video.

  1. 01

Pick your narrator, then the text

Write what the video should say, paste an existing script, or let Motiongist write it from a topic, a link or a document. Choose one of the eight voices and hear the result before a single frame is animated.

  2. 02

    Pick a look

Clean, Night or Illustrated, or apply your brand colors (from Solo). With Studio, describe a custom look in one sentence. Add a note if something must appear, or must be avoided.

  3. 03

    Generate, then download

Motiongist splits the narration into scenes, draws every frame, syncs captions to every word, mixes music and sound effects, then renders the video. Follow every step live and grab a vertical MP4 ready to post.

A video is usually ready in a few minutes, up to about fifteen for long formats. Feel free to close the tab: we’ll email you when it’s done.

In every video

Everything a motion designer would add, added for you

  • Word-by-word captions

Burned in and styled like the rest of the video, they light up the moment each word is spoken. Your video makes sense even on mute.

  • Numbers and diagrams on the right word

A number becomes the picture: big, animated, counting up. A process draws itself step by step as the voice explains it.

  • An animated presenter, if you want one

An illustrated character walks through the narration and reacts to what’s on screen. Or go 100% diagrams, no character.

  • Sound design included

Music under the voice and sound effects on transitions, mixed so the narration always stays front and center.

  • Safe zones respected

Titles, diagrams and captions stay clear of the areas covered by the TikTok, Reels and Shorts interface.

  • Whole series in one go

With the Team plan, a course, a webinar or a document becomes a series of shorts: one episode per idea.

Honest comparison

Motion design used to mean software or an invoice

After Effects or a motion designer

Gorgeous, but slow and expensive

  • A day of work per minute of video, or a quote in the hundreds
  • Steep learning curve: keyframes, curves, expressions
  • Total control, frame by frame
  • Every fix goes back through the timeline

Off-the-shelf templates

Fast, but everyone has the same ones

  • Quick to pick up
  • The same look as thousands of other accounts
  • Nothing syncs to your voice: you line everything up by hand
  • No diagrams or numbers specific to your topic

Motiongist

Made for your topic, in minutes

  • A finished video in minutes, from one sentence or a script
  • Diagrams and numbers drawn for your topic, synced to the voice
  • Fix the script or the voice and re-run: revisions cost half price
  • Less frame-by-frame control than editing software, and vertical 9:16 only for now

Questions

Before you dive in

Do I have to animate anything myself?

No. You provide the words (or just a topic), Motiongist splits the script into scenes, draws the visuals, syncs every animation to the voice and adds captions and sound.

Can I use my own colors and logo?

Yes, from the Solo plan: your colors and name are applied to titles, diagrams and captions. The Studio plan adds custom looks, described in one sentence.

How long can a video be?

Three formats: short (45–60 s), standard (90–120 s) and long (150–180 s). To figure out how many words you need, use the Words to minutes tool.

Are the facts checked?

The script sticks to your sources when you give one (a link or a document), and a fact review runs before rendering. You always read the script before launching the video: you’re the one publishing.

Can I turn a course into a video series?

Yes, with the Team plan. Drop in your course, webinar or document: Motiongist splits it into coherent episodes and creates one project per episode, which you review before rendering. See pricing.

Can I fix a scene afterwards?

Yes: edit the script, the voice or the look and re-run. A revision costs half the base price, because only what changed gets rebuilt.

Does it look “AI-generated”?

No melting faces, no six-fingered hands: Motiongist makes vector motion design (titles, diagrams, numbers, illustrated characters), crisp in every frame. Judge for yourself with the examples.

Can the narration be in English?

Yes. Every video can be narrated in English or French, with captions in the same language. Some of our showcase videos are narrated in French, but the engine is the same.
